Paulsen’s Quickstrike is a Lake Superior charter fishing service based out of Superior, Wisconsin, built around one simple goal: give every group a safe, fun, memorable day on the water - and put you on fish.

Captain Kent Paulsen has spent his entire life learning the waters and woods of northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. After tying into his first Lake Superior steelhead in the spring of 1998, he was hooked for good. Kent moved to Duluth in 2002 to attend UMD, where he learned the ropes as a first mate on several charter boats and sharpened his skills guiding the Brule River. That lifelong passion for the outdoors has only grown with time - and it’s what drives every trip that leaves the dock.

As a father of two, Kent loves sharing the outdoors with kids of all ages and takes pride in creating a welcoming experience for first-timers and seasoned anglers alike. Whether you’re chasing a trophy, building a family memory, or just looking for an unforgettable Lake Superior adventure, you can expect a professional, full-effort trip from start to finish - because reputation matters, and every group deserves the best day possible.
